I bought Emily Maynard’s book (of Bachelor and Bachelorette fame), and sped through it in less than a week. I’m not a consistent Bachelor/Bachelorette fan, but I did watch Emily’s Bachelorette season every week. It was fun to read about the inside workings of the popular tv show, and I was happy to read that she has found the happy ending she was looking for. Definitely a must read if you are a faithful Bachelor fan!
Several of my favorite bloggers kept talking about these shoes for their kiddos, so I decided to try them out. We love them! They are easy to slip on, comfy, and will be super easy to clean if they get dirty/grassy/wet/etc. Perfect summer shoe right here!
It’s recital season at dance class! They got their costumes recently, and Miss Kathy, the studio owner, helped Corinne get dressed. Miss Kathy was such a mentor to me growing up – definitely a full circle moment! This weekend we have dance pictures and a recital studio rehearsal. Then, recital is the first weekend in June. Mom, this is a formal thank you for everything you did for me growing up. Being a “dance mom” is no joke, and I know this will probably be the easiest year we ever have!
I’ve been bitten by the overnight oats bug! If you’re a Pinterest browser, I’m sure you’ve heard of these before. You basically steep the oats (+ other ingredients) overnight in liquid rather than cooking the oats. I was on the fence about the idea…cold oats?? But, I decided to give it a try. So. Good! I followed the chocolate peanut butter recipe here, and they were amazing. Definitely making again next week!
Happy weekend, everyone!
