Happy Friday! I’m linking up with Andrea with some of my favorites from the week.
I love a good scarf, and this one is my new favorite. I don’t see it available online anymore, but I bought it at Old Navy. The colors are deep and perfect for fall. It is lightweight, but has just the right fullness.
Brian is a big sports watcher, and typically when he’s watching a game, my evening looks a little something like this. Catching up on work, blog reading, online shopping and a little snack or cup of tea. If my day has been crazy, it’s so nice to have this peaceful alone time to regroup. Here I’m reading one of my favorite blogs, Mix & Match Family.
Time Hop for the win. My girlfriends and I text back and forth random memories that come up in our Time Hop, and it’s great fun. This particular picture was from a very spur of the moment, very much needed girls night out a few years ago. There were lot of laughs, lots of real conversation, and lots of good wine. We’ll probably still be trying to recreate this evening when we are 40!
On my quest to a healthier me, one habit I knew I needed to kick was soda. I still drink a Diet Coke here and there, but 95% of the time, my bubbly beverage of choice is this stuff. I’m loving the Apple Berry flavor right now – it tastes like a fizzy, light apple cider. The chic, slender can is bonus, too!
My mom came to watch Corinne’s dance class this week, and it was just the sweetest. Seeing as she probably spent millions of hours in a dance room with me, it was fun to share this experience with her. Corinne looked over and said, “hi, Nana!” at least a dozen times, and of course, the end of class sucker was still the highlight of her evening 😉
I know this is old news, but the famous red cups are back, and it was definitely a bright spot in the middle of my work week. Why these crimson cups make everyone so happy is a mystery, but I’ll take the cheer in my day anytime.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
