I love the long Thanksgiving weekend – spending time with family, eating great food and kicking off the Christmas season always makes for a relaxing and festive time. This year was no different, as we set off to celebrate with some of our favorite holiday to-do’s!
I have no great pictures of all of us on Thanksgiving, but Corinne’s first year getting into the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade? You better believe that was commemorated with a selfie! She loved watching everyone dance (I taught her the important lesson that boys can dance, too!) and was a bit creeped out by the Cats cast (I feel ya there).
Our very own elf, Peppermint, came into town on Saturday morning! She brought a North Pole breakfast to get Corinne excited about the whole adventure. Truth be told – I’ve been anti-elf up to this year. But, Corinne has been full on sass lately, and I thought we could use any means for a drama-free Christmas season! Is it working so far? Depends on the minute 🙂
Peppermint wrote the girls a little letter, and brought them breakfast, new Santa pj’s and ornaments for the Christmas tree. Corinne loved it!
Picking a spot in her room for her tree from Peppermint!
Saturday night was Christmas decorating time!
Santa pj’s on and tree complete! Poor Sabrina 😉
We don’t put outdoor lights on our house, but Corinne and I couldn’t resist this light up snowman. How excited is she?!
There is nothing better than ornaments full of memories and white twinkle lights to cozy up a living room. This is my favorite view these days!
I’m so looking forward to lots of memories with family and friends over the next month. Bring on celebrating!
