What I Love
stranded with…

I love a good blog link up here and there, and I thought this was a fun idea!  I can’t wait to read everyone else’s posts.  Shay and Erika have started this blog series called Stranded with…”, where we will talk each month about 3 things you would take if you were stranded on a desert island.  This month’s theme?  What three things would you take on a deserted island from your medicine cabinet?

Good ol’ Vaseline has been a tried and true essential in my medicine cabinet for years and years.  It makes the best overnight lip moisturizer.  It soothes chapped skin when you’ve been blowing your nose too much or have a skin irritation.  It makes a good eye makeup remover in a pinch.  I heart Vaseline!

When it comes to pesky allergies and/or cold sniffles, this is the best medicine for the job.  It helps clear your sinuses, dulls that awful cold-related headache, and generally helps me get about my day.  I always turn to Advil C&S when I don’t feel well!

We started out with an old fashioned thermometer for Corinne, but now that we have this forehead thermometer, I’m not sure how we ever lived without it!  It’s one of those things that collects dust (thankfully and crossed fingers), but on that dreadful day that you need it, you want the easiest thermometer possible.  This one reads her temperature with a quick graze across the forehead, which means we can double check her even without waking her up at night.  Such a blessing when she isn’t feeling well!

So, there you have it…my top 3 medicine cabinet finds.  I’m excited to read what others can’t live without.  Here is a list of topics coming up in future months!
