There are many reasons I decided to dive into the world of blogging. I’ve loved writing since I was in elementary school, and studied journalism at Ball State. I wanted a way to document our life now, so I can remember our days and stories years into the future. I’ve also found a ton of inspiration from other mommy bloggers I’ve found over the past several years. I can’t pinpoint exactly when I started reading blogs regularly, but the introduction of Pinterest years ago definitely led me to some great ones. I’ve never met any of these mamas, but I absolutely love following their lives, and their words.
Jessica @ Little Baby Garvin is a mama to 3 little girls. Her style and artistry? Perfection. But she is also so real, and doesn’t hide the fact that many of her days feel like a ride aboard the Hot Mess Express. She always has festive holiday ideas, adorable toddler girl fashion finds and stunningly simple home decor.
Amber over at PB+J Babes is also a mama to 3 little girls (sensing a trend here?). I happened upon her blog on Pinterest when I was pregnant, and have been following her since. I love her for her fun toddler girl fashion, and she can throw a mean birthday party/baby shower/etc.
I started following Shay over at Mix and Match Mama just recently, and I’m hooked. I love her fashion and beauty ideas, and seeing the fun things she does with her kiddos. Psst…her little brother is also pretty famous. I KNEW she looked familiar when I found her blog randomly on Instagram 😉
Kate at The Small Things is my go-to girl for all things beauty and fashion. Her approach is very friendly and down-to-earth, and she has great advice! She is a mama to two boys.
Do you have any blogs you follow regularly? I find myself coming back to these blogs because they are real, and feel like a little community of women in the same place of life as I am. #squadgoals
Things will be quieting down around here over the next week or so, as I take full advantage of family, home, and rest. It is much needed! I’ve got some fun ideas as I take The Holcomb Home into 2016, and I hope you’ll stay along for the ride with me. Wishing all of you a very happy holiday!
